I think I realize why all these people have the disposable cups. I went to Timmie's today, and asked for my tea in a MUG, and she gave me a freakin double cupped disposable piece of garbage. I was pretty upset. I didn't bother making her change it, because it just would have ended up in the trash anyways, but I think next time I will so that they realize that I don't want their disposable crap.
Ugh.

I agree. About everything. I know I'm guilty of my share of garbage, but I've been recycling and composting for the last couple years, and I try to buy things with minimal packaging.
I recently discussed the "Timmie's Disposable Cup" issue with someone. She worked there and said that people usually ask for a paper cup, even after they say "for here". I found it odd that the employees didn't just automatically give mugs. Why even bother asking if it's "for here" if you're going to waste the paper cup anyway? GAH!
